There is a good article in the most recent Fortune regarding the housing market. I was considering purchasing an additional house as a rental but have since decided against it as we may be nearing the top end of the cycle (although people have been saying this for several years, including myself). The deciding factor for me was when on a recent visit to the dentist the dental hygentist was bragging about the 12 homes she has bought in the last year (interest only loans of course). Walking around the office I'm reminded of the stock market a few years back when grandma was talking about her qualcom stock. There are many amature investors out there driving up home pricing..of course this is just my opinion. |
