Christine Maxa has quite a way with words - those are really poetic descriptions.
Maybe a little fanciful, too - a bustle of turtles and garter snakes would be a
good Disney theme. I did some trail work on the Cottonwood Canyon trail a few
years back when it became part of the Arizona Trail, and didn't catch that
beautiful waterfall, though I think I remember that spot. It was quite hot
and deserty, so I think a visit in the spring would be best, before that
ephemeral water evanesces. |
