Hello,
I am going to Phoenix an a few weeks (October 23-26). I have never been there before, and I need some advice where to go. Here is my criteria;
I am definately a beginner, and primarily after scenery, as opposed to a strenious hike. I prefer to do this in tennis shoes, so I only have to pack one pair.
I am staying downtown, and I am hoping to be within 1 hour drive, So maybe North or South Mountain? Or the Preserve?
On a good day, I can walk a 5K, but I prefer this to be between 1 mile and 2 miles total walking, as I only have about 3 hours to do everything, and return back to downtown.
If anyone can reccomend something I would greatly appreciate it.
Thanks
Jessica |

You should consider the McDowells or Shaw Butte.
