I have a box full of boy scout canteens and mess kits from the 1950's. Does anyone know if they are collectible and if so how much they would be worth? They range from complete with carry bags in good condition to partial kits in fair condition. _________________ Enjoy God's wonders in person. Hike, Hike, Hike. |

What price for history? I remember getting a hold of my Uncle's 1950s style canteens and mess kits (Army issue) when I was a kid. Awesome "army man" stuff back then. Wish I held onto his Alice Pack (complete with webbing). Maybe my Madre still has it...
Hop onto Ebay and see if there are any other listings for that stuff. Or, just slap an auction entry out there and see what happens. Bet you'd be surprised.
