I got a really cool GPS - Garmin 60cX. I've done one hike with it and am very happy with it.

I have one of those, it is pretty good. I got a $50 gift certificate to Peace Surplus in Flag. I have a Neo Air thermarest ordered there. They had only ones 6 feet long. How silly, no 3/4 length on an item that should be for ultralight. They do not have much ultralight gear there. Maybe I will buy some new zipoffs, though.

That sounds good since I need both also.

I got a Garmin 60csx as well! It arrived a few weeks earlier than Christmas, but my wife had ordered it when it had dropped a bit in price. Since she's not a hiker, I got her a gift certificate for a new tattoo that she wants. She's going this week! Smile

About the 60csx or the tattoo? No and no! She has a number of them and I have even more than she does. Once the kids move out of the house, you spend your money on all sorts of things! Very Happy

Yup, more backpacking gear, and branching out into kayaking, which requires more gear. Got my fancy bikes after they left, too. Gear and more gear! Smile

This little elf has to buy her own toys.
I did all my gifting to myself early in November.
