Anyone want to help look for GPSJoe this coming Saturday and Sunday?
We'll plan on car camping in the area.

Did the entire MDT ridgeline from Peeley TH to Sheep Mtn burn?

The manzanitas seem especially thick & have taken over that area especially in the southern ravines--just across the highway on Mt Ord you don't see as much manzanita on its southern exposure.

Fire related?

God bless all of you and HAZ for your hard and diligent work in searching for Joe. I am following on both sites. This is so hard to believe. I hope and pray he is ok.

Need help getting the tracks of Brian's Garmin etrex legend. Apparently he needs a cable. Does anyone happen to have cables they could share for this particular model? or other ideas?

I have an e-trex legend that I no longer use, If you still need the cable, please let me know how/where to sent it.

Does not take long for manzanita to grow back, Southern and western exposure exposed to the sun more and the vegetation is not as lush as the northern and eastern exposures.

Hey! Thanks for the info, I will pass it along. I believe that one of the CAMRA guys met Brian with a big old set up of cables and prongs for pulling files off of GPS's. Brian might be interested in contacting you.
