Rising waters have stranded hikers in Sabino Canyon. Mt. Lemmon highway closed due to blizzard warning. 79 mph wind gusts at Summerhaven. Tornado Watch for Pinal, Maricopa, Yuam, and Lapaz Counties. Not a good time to be hiking in southern Arizona.
Although the weather will settle down a bit by Saturday-Sunday, the Catalina mountain creeks will probably remain high this weekend. _________________ TucsonHikers - Southern Arizona's Hiking Network!

Hikers are always getting stranded in Sabino and Bear, you know you can get out if you just know how to bushwhack!
