I want to take time to wish the members of this community a very happy and healthy New Year! It's been a great year of hiking. My highlight was finally checking the Flat Iron off my to do list! (Thanks again Todd!)
So what was the best hike of 2009 for you...and what hike is #1 on your list for 2010?

I want to do Boucher next fall, I think. Haven't done it before. Also some hikes in the Blue Primitive Area I haven't done yet. I don't have really big hiking goals this year as I will be taking 12 credits online this spring, and working 2 jobs, and trying to stay fit, plus various house and garden jobs.
Happy New Year!
PS anyone having trouble opening the gallery tonight? Hope you are all having fun--I'm at work! |

Happy New Year Everyone!
I had a great year of hiking and meeting new people. Of course my highlight was the Grand Gulch, thanks PageRob!
2010: anything will be on my list. I just want to continue hiking and backpacking. _________________ Anne

Happy New Year !!!
I have a very simple goal this year. To be able to make it outdoors to do something, hiking, camping or whatever at least once or hopefully twice a month.
I'll try to pick some places for each month, where to go as it comes along or a little in advance. And pick one or two things that require extra planning and plan ahead and hope to be able to do.
If I plan for things they don't seem to materialize for one reason or another, so decided this is how I'll try to do. _________________ Wanderingsoul (Michelle)

Well, it's only the 3rd of January, and I have already cross country skied twice and road biked once, so if the rest of the year is like this, I should be fine!
Oh, well, yeah, gotta go back to my school job tomorrow...sigh...But it does give me quite a bit of free time during the day. |
