I was wondering if anyone had any more information about the Tonto Narrows TH? I read yesterday (http://www.madhiker.org/6060/Errata.html) that the TH is closed due to conflict between ranchers and hikers. I am not too surprised given what I witnessed after coming through the area from Hells Gate, but still... what a loss! I wish there was a way people could be made to treat the area better (I recall lots of trash, broken glass bottles, cans, etc. when we went through there) and to respect the ranchers' property.
