I must admit, I voted not to have an Epic in December. I know, I haven't made any of the first three so why should I vote to put off the next one? Because December is so busy for all of us, and frankly I can't stand to miss another one! I have had family commitments for all 3 of the Epics and December is jam-packed. The only possibility might be the 27th or 28th.

I really like that New Year's day idea.

We would definitely have to think about a later start time though... Wacko

So, you want to have a short Epic hike? Or do we have an overnight Epic? If we have a later start, it has to be one or the other. All I know is, I haven't been on one yet and I don't want to miss the next one.

Ditto, with the exception the 27th and 28th won't work either. I'll be in Utah. I 'd hate to miss another one also Crying or Very sad

I love the idea of a New Year's Day hike since December will be a crazy month getting ready for the holidays. Smile

I like the new years day hike also.

Remember CK if you want to do a new years day hike and a midnight hike it either has to start after 12:00 Dec 31 or before 12:00 Jan 1. That rules out a midnight start time Wink

Don't have my map, but i can probably put together one in the 15 mile range minimum when I get home. Just a thought. I realize more folks live in the East Valley, so maybe something challenging, but not all the way out to the supes?
