I am so envious of all your SATURDAYS! I need another kind of job! However I was at the Rockfest on Sunday and it was very cool.Bought a chunk of Amythest and a few little goodies.Love all those strange things that come out of the earth! Maybe we should have a "rock hunt"! Smile (Beer is good and so is steak-even without each other!) Rolling Eyes

GeorgeAz---work takes your Saturdays?!? Don't they know weekends are for playing and WEEKDAYS are for working....sheeez Crazy The Amythest you purchased; will you use it to make something or ornament something or is it a big chunk and more a show piece of it's own merit?

Kent, yeah!! I thought that would sound good to you!!
Kristyn, I'm not sorry, I'm kinda jealous!!
Kelly and Jaimi, what say you?

Kent is pretty easy to please, especially if there's a hike and a beer involved. Agree

Kristyn, I see how it is... fine, be that way!! We will just have our own fun w/o you. (But we will do it again, cause it just won't be the same unless you're there!!) Yes

And Mike, I am always up for a good time!! So, Saturday the 25th... hike, bbq at my place, and hottub!! Woohoo... sounds like one heckova great day!! Beer

Multi Multi Multi Multi

Hey Higgs! Just try to get those gals for haircolor NOT to go to the salon on Saturdays! I could probably take one a month off! The Amythest is on its own merit! My friends have a chunk that is about 22" across and about 3"-8" high! Mine is jest a little chunk, but it's MY chunk!! Laughing Love those rocks!! We should get a crew to go to the Tuscon show! Smile

Hey get yourself better for next year and we can make a trip up to Sunrise, that is if we can get good enough snow conditions. Rolling Eyes

Looks like the Canyon Lake/Peralta TH thing is on for the 25th....wanna make that the hike? We can join them at what ever restaraunt is chosen then go back and hot tub?!? Or we could just go to the pizza joint you guys have gone to before, after the hike and HOT TUB!!! Just in case any of you are curious--I think the HOT TUB and BEER portion of the idea is critical Laughing

And Kelly--your idea is noble but...rather than put it off till Kristyn is here we could always repeat at that time Wink changing trails of course...

That was my thought too. We can do the group hike, then do whatever... pizza, restaurant, bbq. Doesnt matter much to me.

Right on Jaimi!! Agree I guess we should decide here about eats, then we can put in our two cents on the Canyon/Peralta topic about driving arrangements
Beer < I really dig this one---guess I'm still stuck on the critical part.... Rolling Eyes

Is there a bbq by the jacuzzi? Can veggies be bbq'd? Sorry--carnivore here...if it green I get it's in a vitamin Embarassed

The bbqs are by the lake, and the hottub is by the lake, also. They are both gated separately, but its not a big deal... not far at all.

As far as the veggies, I think Kelly is the expert. I will let her answer that one.

Wacko Amazed No Bouncing Ok

I love all the little smilies!! They're so cute and fun!! Eek
