I just booked my flights for this trip. Really looking forward to getting out there and doing this hike!

We currently have 3 permit-slots open due to drop-outs (sorry you can't make it Ambika, Todd & Diane). I have to call out there again on the 16th to confirm our permit reservations. If we haven't filled them by then, I'll free them up for others to use.

Yeah Hank is going!!! I think there have been some cancelations so I'm sure there will be room for you Hank! Ken??? There is room for Hank, isn't there?

Hey, SHE'S BACK! I am totally in for this hike! Thanks Sande for the heads up and this works well with my schedule and I enjoy being back on the trail! My backpacking skills are a bit rusty, but they are coming back quickly! Lite and comfy! Laughing

Hi Mary!!!! Welcome back!! I'm glad that you can make this one. It should be a lot of fun. Beautiful scenery, good friends and (food?) a great set of ruins... what's not to like!

We still have one slot available at this time, so if you know someone that would like to make it, please pass the word.

I'm a little confused on the number of slots left for the backpack to Keet Seel. Header indicates 9 slots open, but thread seems to talk about only 1 slot open.

Trying to free up my Memorial Day weekend to take part with a friend... Crazy

There are currently 2 slots open. The permit is for 15 (although I was told that they might allow one or two extra, but I wouldn't count on it). A couple of folks that signed up indicated that they were bringing someone.

One of our friends (Si na ti) just dropped out yesterday due to family obligations, that's why there are 2 slots open.

I'll just be coming back from my annual UTAH 2009 trip and some 60+ miles on the trails in that time but save one spot for me. I really would like to make this one. I'm working on the car pooling thing too.

OK folks, we have a full boat as of now (actually 1 over!).

It'll be good to see you all again and to meet some members that I haven't had the pleasure of hiking with.

I just got word back from the boss today that I can have Friday 05-22 off. I was a little worried about it since i was just coming back from a weeks vacation. But it was a trade off. I'm looking forward to this...seeing old friends and meeting new ones.
