I've changed my registration to a yes.

Ken, could you tell us a little about the difficult rating of this hike. I see the distance is 8 miles.

Ok, my friend and I are definitely in! I don't know how to change my register so that it is me plus one, or do I? This will be fun!

Oliver99, I've subtracted 2 from the total sign-up; one for you and one for PageRob's wife. There are about 6 slots left at this point.

Just put myself on the list... Very Happy ..I have done this before but have been wanting to do it again, so here I am. It is a great trek everyone will enjoy. I am familiar with the campground at the monument and the hike, so if I can help with any info, let me know! Looking forward to it already!

There are just 4 slots left. Eleven have signed up (9 members + 2 non-member). Looks like it'll be a fun group!

The trail looks to be of "moderate" difficulty which, of course depends upon your ability.

You'll lose about 800 feet in elevation in the first 3/4 mile, which is good news on the way there, bad news on the way back! The rest of the hike out has about 400 feet of gain in one area, followed by a 300 foot descent and a slow incline of 400 feet the rest of the way to the site.

desertgirl,

I've held an extra slot for you. Only ONE left!!

I WILL keep track of those that express an interest and put you on the list in case someone drops out.

Hey Ken

Can you fix up your post so that it shows up under upcoming events ? I just don't want to miss the heads up I get from the listing on the front page Very Happy

Sure... um, how do I do that?? I don't see an option for my original post that's obvious. Also, if I make it "sticky" instead of registration, will I lose the registration? In other words, how do I make it a "sticky-registration"?

I see the problem... I somehow set it up as a "Poll" instead of an "Event"!

Is there any way to move it without losing the registration info?

Thanks!

Looks like a wonderful trip Ken, but couldn't project out that far just yet. It is so beautiful at National Monument area.
At moment looks like I'm on-call for this holiday Rolling Eyes I'm putting myself on the maybe list in case something changes for me and someone has to back out. Maybe I'll get lucky, a couple of spots open and I don't have to work? If not I'll have to make a point of getting there. Another place on my list of places to see.
As everyone said thanks for setting it all up.

I have to unregister for this one. I wanna go so bad but I am not gonna have the PTO to cover it.... guess I will have to see it some other time. Wanna make sure I leave open the spots for some one who knows they can make it....
