While cleaning my storage shed I happened to notice a rather large black widow spider disappear down my shirt when I was moving some boxes. Did not break any of the contents of the box or any of my toes or foot after dropping the box. Was not bite, stung or had any problems with the spider (except I don't know where it went) just had to explain to the rental storage manger what happened.

Wow, I would have moved quickly too. My closest encounter with a black widow was back in high school. I needed to get some gasoline for the lawnmower. I grabbed an Oklahoma credit card (5 foot length of garden hose) from the garage to siphon some fuel from my car. As sometimes happens, I gave one too many sucks on the hose and got a mouthful of gasoline. Spat it out and saw a black widow on her back with 8 legs twitching. I got better, she died. (And yes Hooli, it was leaded gas but not ethyl.)

A yodel (not going to admit that I screamed like a little kid), a crash and some salty language. Tearing off my cloths and standing in my storage unit in my underwear, the manger comes over to check out what happened.
