Awesome pics! I didn't realize you could hike up that high. I only did hiking at Rocky Mountian N.P and that was about 10500 I guess. I'd love to go up to 14000+. What area of Colorado were you in? Near? _________________ "IRONMAN" cometh, hiketh, destroyeth |

I was in the San Juan Mountains in the Southwest corner of the state. We were just east of Lake City. Here is my trip report:

Lake City...sweet little town...watched the Bulls beat the Jazz in the NBA finals from a bar in Lake City. Slept that night at campsite next to the Colorado and watched a moose drink from the river not 20 feet away. What a wonderful memory...thanks for the flashback Steven. _________________ -Colin

Me too! Let's try to get some AzHikers together to "invade" Colorado! Let's plan something, people. Anybody want to go to really high places? _________________ What a magnificent time to LIVE! - Everett Ruess.

That would be really cool, AZhikers in Colorado. Something a bit different! _________________ Mountains are there to be climbed!
