I was up that way yesterday. We drove by the trailhead, the full sign was up and cars were lined up from the entrance gate all the way to the highway waiting to get in. There wasn't much color along the road in that area, though, just a few slightly yellow leaves. Maybe there was more color back in the canyon, but we opted for a different hike, so I don't know. My guess is it hasn't peaked yet. We wound up at Bell Rock, hiked and climbed the rock a ways.

The traffic in town was the worst I've seen in awhile. 179 was backed up half a mle before we got to the Y, and 89-A was bumper to bumper uptown. Once we got into the canyon, it wasn't bad at all.

Mike!!! Just missed you. Agree "round-about" Sedona was in top form. I think just about all traffic lights are gone there. We did hit West Fork around 4:30 Saturday. The place was starting to empty out. There was some beautiful color in West Fork (reds, oranges, yellows)as we got back in. It was getting dark so we didn't make it very far.

Aye, I've never seen traffic so bad in Sedona. It reminded me why I hardly go down there any more. West Fork was gorgeous! Next couple weeks will probably be even more colorful, but parking...yikes!

Thanks for thet...great pic,Syz, As I'll be there on a Monday and Tuesday, a lot of traffic will be less heavy. Can't get near West Fork on a Saturday and Sunday when the colors start. Crazy
