We will vote on hiking destination once a date is chosen.
I decided to offer a Sunday because it close to home and it wouldn't interfere too much with work/school the next day. Also, some people may have a Halloween party to attend on Saturday night.
Costume is not required. I will write out a detailed event soon. _________________ You can never eat too much candy... |

If we do a city hike, I think costumes would be fun although not practical. Maybe we could just do face paint. Maybe we could get a bunch of Derby hats and do some face paint reminicent of a clockwork orange.

It can be anything, not necessarily costumes. Something bizarre. How about carrying a huge stuffed animal on your back...., or a Kilt?
We will have a vote on the place soon. I have just been busy finishing up a project for class and haven't had time to write up a detailed event.
Sounds like October 26th is the day. _________________ You can never eat too much candy... |

Now that's an idea. I have two hiking kilts, one in my clan Gunn tartan. I'm set. _________________ It is far better to grasp the Universe as it really is than to persist in delusion, however satisfying and reassuring. -- Carl Sagan |

Hey Heidi,
Ambika, Tracy and I just committed to an ALL day event Saturday the 25th with our climbing class. The location hasn't been determined so I'm thinking Sunday for this hike....what are you thinking?
Pinnacle Peak and Greasewood Flats afterwards maybe?
Perhaps another poll? |
