Doing a Peralta Trail Hike on Sunday 11-16-03 and meeting in AJ somewhere around 8 AM. There's already a few people definitely going and everyone is welcome.

I know it's a late start but we gotta give the West Valley people a break from those 5 AM wake ups to hike the Supes, not to mention the hour drive.

If interested just drop a message here and we'll confirm meeting place by Friday.

Sounds more like "boot scootin' hikin'" to me. Hmmm......there must be some C&W song about that. I'm going to have to think about that one.

Holly Cow!!! Where'd you hear that, Hooli?? We just have to be careful not to grab one those "chip plates" or we'll end up slidin' down that sucker on our Moon .

Hey, maybe we'll spot Big Foot himself out there...

BIG FOOT??? I thought Daddee was takin' the day off. But if we find a size 14 boot print out there we know he's been there and we can just follow the tracks

Tom, my jeep's transmission took a turn for the worse and the other two jeeps are already commited to taking people to work. I know, some peoples priorities...

I'll be going tomorrow, I'll be leaving my home in Avondale at 7AM, barring traffic problems, I should get to the meeting place at 8 am.

See you there!

I need to get online more often. I'd like to hike along on this one. I've been on the cave trail before and also to the outlook. Trail finding is not a problem. 8)

So, if any of you saw a small silver Cessna 140 dipping its wings at you that was me! I don't know what time you guys got up to the saddle at but I was over there at about 9:00 - 9:30, There were a couple people in the saddle but it didn't look like a big enough group to be you.

Thats why I had to skip out of hiking. I'm taking flying lessons from my father-in-law. Since the lessons are free (and because hes my father-in-law) I'll drop whatever it is I'm doing and take the lesson. Besides, flying's too porridge much fun to miss it.

Anyways if you guys plan another trip for next sunday, I'll tag along then instead. I already know I'm flying on saturday of next week.

Matt, we hit the trail about 8:45 so you were a little ahead of us. Most of the group got to the saddle between 10 and 10:30. You missed a good time, but sounds like you had a pretty good time yourself!

Yeah, there are very few things that I'll miss hiking for. Free flying lessons is one of them.

Nest time I'll have to hike though, I'm really looking forward to meeting everyone.

Matt,

If I had known that was you in that Cessna, I would have waved or something! Sounds like you had a very good reason for cancelling. We all had a blast. It was a wonderful group to spend the day with.

Catch up with you later,

Trish
