Been there, done that. A lot of years ago, but best I recall, equal parts beer, lime juice and ice. _________________ [/size] |

Yep......that's it! Can't have a good margarita without the salt.
1 lime, cut into 8 wedges
1/4 cup coarse salt
2 (12-ounce) bottles your favorite beer, chilled
1/2 cup frozen concentrate limeade, thawed
1/2 cup chilled tequila
Ice cubes
Rub lime wedges around rims of 4 margarita glasses. Dip rims into salt to coat lightly. In a medium pitcher, combine beer, limeade, and tequila. Fill prepared glasses with ice, then with margarita mixture. Garnish with remaining lime wedges. Serve immediately.
So the party that I was at had slightly modified the recipe by doubling the tequila. |

Fill a glass jar blender 2/3 with ice.
Equal Parts:
Tequila
Roses Lime Juice
Triple Sec
Daily's Sweet and Sour Concentrate (no substitutes)
Diet 7 up
Blend till smooth and frothy, serve over ice in a salted rim glass. _________________ The bear went over the mountain to see what he could see. |

Oh well there's another option!
Guess it depends on whether you like a blended margarita or one on the rocks.
In hindsight, I believe it is NOT best to double the tequila.
It might be a reason for Tim and Jen to host a party though |

Ahh a Shot and a Beer in one glass. Hadn't really tried any like that before.
Those are picks holding the limes, right. At first I thought it was a straw... Beer and Straws.... NOT a good idea!! (wouldn't know anything like that from experience though ) _________________ Wanderingsoul (Michelle)
