Yesterday, somewhere in Arizona, I hiked here:
Actually it is West Fork of the Black River, Thompson Trail.
Suz, I took my dogs--there is no poison oak on this stretch. |

I was hoping to see a scene like that along the South Fork trail yesterday. That little river stays pretty choked with vegetation. I did find elk and deer antlers though, at the end of the River Trail.

That's a nice hike. My two youngest and I did it a few years back When Baldy was shut down due to fire danger. _________________ ;o)> |

Awesome! Nice picture. I'm sure your dogs loved it. Sadie and I have been along a few stretches. It's always beautiful. |

I've done one short hike in the NW. It was raining cats and dogs when we started but cleared some as we returned. The forest was dripping and the sun was shining and every drop of water was sparkling-made it all seem very magical. _________________ The bear went over the mountain to see what he could see. |
