I just ordered it. Plan on starting it as soon as I get to Italy. Following the nutrition guide will be hardest for me I'm sure. Not having American conveniences will help a little though.
Anyone else try this yet? |

Been thinking about that myself.
Please keep us up to date and let us know how it goes.
Right now I'm just trying to get through the majority of the Wii Fit.!!!.
Some of which is hard for me.
Down 10 lbs since Jan.

I borrowed this from my dad for a few months. I did the workouts but didn't follow the eating plan, which seems to be a major part of having success with the program. I returned it to my dad, but I might have accidently copied a few of the workouts to my computer. I do the Ab Ripper X routine 2 or 3 times a week. I really like it. If I could just not eat like a pig, people would see that my abs are in fact quite shredded.
The Plyometrics routine is, in my opinion, the hardest workout in the program. I always feel like I'm about to throw up about halfway through it. I quit doing it, but I'm thinking about starting it up again.
Good luck! _________________ "Your day-glo ballet days are over." Ancient chinese proverb.

Okay, I fess up I am doing P90X but I am only 30 days in. Personally, I believe that the results are nothing short of amazing. In those 30 days, I have lost 5% body fat and 11 lbs total.
My feedback on P90X is that there is no program that is as well thought out and comprehensive . It will deliver what is promised-IF one follows it. HOWEVER, it hurts, takes at least an hour a day, six days a week (or more) and takes discipline to keep after it day after day. It is intense, intense, intense-and harder than you expect. It also feels AWESOME!
After doing 30 days, it has become clear that to give oneself the best chance to succeed (most people quit or don't follow the program exactly and fail), each recommendation of the program should be followed and has an important purpose toward your overall goals-though they seem goofy initially. Take the pictures of yourself, follow the diet, put up your calendar, write down your workouts, throw out bad food, etc.
Other recommendations: buy bowflex adjustable dumbells and a body fat measuring floor scale.
Accelerade from GNC is an equivalent recovery drink to the P90X drink (don't use gatorade, etc) and EAS brand 17g protein bar (carb control) is a good substitue for the P90X bar.
PM with any questions! Good luck! _________________ "I am just going outside and may be some time."- Explorer Oates' last words before crawling out of his tent in -40 C temps. Sacrificed himself so as not to hold back his 1912 South Pole expedition teamates. |

A bunch of guys are doing that at my gym; they meet daily; they let me stand in...it is really a great workout with so many combinations; I have noticed 2 of these guys getting a lot leaner! Gotta keep doing it though and discipline is hard! |

You sure do know how to suck the air out of a room. Gosh I wish I could ignore your comments.
This thread is not about whether or not you like indoor exercise. Your opinion doesn't NEED to be expressed where it's not applicable. _________________ "Your day-glo ballet days are over." Ancient chinese proverb.
