Ventured out yesterday afternoon to see how the wildflowers are coming along. Spotted quite a few patches, most were up high on southwest facing hills. Found this section just in time for yet another great Arizona sunset. Right place, right time.

Thanks all for the nice comments. I took this in a side canyon along the Apache Trail, a few miles before Canyon Lake. |

yep, I know exactly where you were at..........Saturday it seemed I was followed by 50 cars each time I stopped on the side of the road...it was a circus. |

I know, they were clogging the roadside on a weekday too. I've seen some crazy stuff happen on that road.
If you're willing to bushwack you can leave the chattering of sneaker wearing tourists and the buzzing of cars far behind. You'll have large sections of wildflowers all to yourself. |

Very nice location and image.
I flew over some mountainous terrain today where entire hillsides were awash with vivid wildflowers and will hike in this weekend. Thankfully the area is not on any wildflower alerts so we should see nobody else. Bushwhacking is the way to go regardless. _________________ Seize from every moment its unique novelty and do not prepare your joys
