I will be heading down to Sycamore Canyon next weekend on Saturday (11/1). This is a gorgeous little canyon on the border with Mexico. Boynhisdog writes about his experience hiking there:

It is a canyoneering hike; there is no trail most of the way and wading or scrambling is required. However the canyon is quite beautiful and the autumn color should be close to peak. Virtually guaranteed to be an enjoyable hike. Any takers?
