Went up all the way today after a time limited failed attempt some time back. Well---- there's snow up there. Better hurry though if you want to see it. Except in the scree chute which was full of it. This of course gave me the willy's so I stumbled around looking for the "other" way up, but never did find it. So.... dimbulb Mike T. finds his own rock climb/scramble route up. Of course the rocks in the shade were frosty and slippery and the rocks recently in the sun were melted and wet. In the end I got there but quickly decided the snow filled scree chute didn't look so bad anymore. Well some of that snow was icepack and hard and some of that snow was soft and crumbly and a guy couldn't really tell which until he puts his foot on it. It was kind of cool being the only footprints up there though. All in all a pretty exciting day. Note to self: Don't solo this one in the winter again.
