Hey Todd,
I've had two people tell me they were not able to post on the Houseboat thread. Is that because they need to vote in the Poll first before they can post? I didn't really want a poll in the thread but I couldn't post the event without a poll...it kept redirecting me. Can you help? |

I answered the poll too (but not the sign-up part) and still wasn't able to post in it. _________________ Anywhere is within walking distance if you spend the time. |

Todd----I'm still getting calls and PM's from people about not being able to post in the Houseboat thread. Any ideas what is going on? if you need more details you might chat with Ambika.
I wonder if that is going on in any other threads???? |

I've had several threads I haven't been able to post in. _________________ "Surely all God's people, however serious or savage, great or small, like to play. I didn't try yours, Suz, but in the past if there is a poll, it wouldn't let me post in the thread until I voted. But it seems some people have voted and still can't post?
I'm going to go try it! |

Typically you can't post in a poll that you haven't voted in. I was able to post in your thread as was azbackpackr. I think that is because you removed the Poll option? Maybe some others can try?

In order to get the "vote" registration thing, you need a Poll or a Event with Registration.

In order to post a new thread in the Events section, you need a date, you need to Activate the Registration as well. You do not need to have a Poll option in an Event, just dates, a choice to register to and activate it. If you're just trying to get a "feel" for seeing if members are interested in something, then post a Poll. YOu may want to go in and just check the box in your original post to "Delete Poll". It will ask you if you want to Delete The Poll when you submit and then you should be good.

Todd---got a call from Ambika. She says she is locked out of the site altogether now. She can navigate all over the internet but cant get on AZH. Can you help her?
I couldn't remove the poll from the houseboat thread because the "edit" option is gone from the original post. I've tried on PC's, MACs and different browsers. |

You have to be on the first page of the post to Edit your post for an Event.

Thanks Todd,
I couldn't post the event without including a poll. It kept redirecting my attempts to include the poll. It is all working fine now with no funky reports. |
