I don't know if I say that, actually I think it make me on the "heavier" side. Now I bring an extra 4 ounces that I used to leave at home.
But really for AZ it's a good little 3 season shell, will block the wind up on Humphrey's and shed a few sprinkles. In a heavy rain I haven't found a rain jacket I like yet. |

I dunno, Andrew, I think you're hinging on "phenomenology".
I hate to say it though, I may start to really consider the "lighter side".
I'm down to a 30lb pack with all the trimmings, food, water, not too bad I'd say. |

Poncho. Breaths from underneath. I've tried everything and I've got $1000 worth of hi tec rain crap here but a $12 poncho is what ends up in my pack. It's a delight to wear in the rain. |
