Mike Higgins, aka Chihiggs, is a first-time father tonight!! Baby

I received the phone call during dinner. Mike said that his brand new baby boy

was born around 6pm tonight. He weighed in at a healthy 7.6lbs, and is 20" long. They named him, "Ace Michael Higgins". Flipping Baby

Everyone is doing just fine!! Mike was beaming through the phone!

As a friend of Mike's for many years now, and him being the first hiker I ever met on my first group hike (Todd was the second hiker I met for the same hike...), I just want to send out the biggest CONGRATULATIONS possible. Yahoo!

I'm so happy for him, and for Christina (the Mommy!!). They are a great couple, and this newest addition is just going to be a wonderful adventure for them. So, welcome to the world lil Ace! Applause
