Spent the last three days playing around and on the San Juan River. Photos are up.

One of the nicest trips I've taken in a while. Easy day hikes, a day on the river, nice food. I'm pretty relaxed and happy!

Looks like a great trip. I met a lady near Grand Gulch who had just take a rock art boat tour on the San Juan. Run by a guy out of Moab, named Joe Pacheck ( Spelling is phonetic) an Anasazi artist, responsible for the sculptures outside of the museum, Edge of Cedars, at Blanding. He is also mentioned in a book I have by Mark Taylor, in his search for answers to the disappearance of Everett Ruess.

I was thinking depending on cost might be worth while. Be interesting to get this guys take on things, but as always, who does really know??/ No one---

Oh, neat! I've always wondered about those sculptures. Yeah, cost is key. We went with Wild Rivers, thought their day price was pretty reasonable. Plus we got some good info on picking up a raft cheap, since we've been mulling that over for a few years here. Owners and guides both were really knowledgeable and friendly.

It was a great trip.
