A wildfire is leading to voluntary evacuations near Forest Lakes. Specifically, the people in the Dutch Joe Ranch were asked to leave the area but so far the ranch is refusing evacuation.
The Forest Service says there are only a handful of people working the ranch.
The Vincent Fire burning in the Apache Sitgraves National Forest has charred over 200 acres.
Two heavy air tankers and two helicopters are dropping fire retardant and water. Ground crews are using bulldozers to fight the fire. The fire is headed to an area that has been thinned earlier this year.
The fire is burning near Forest Road 34 just south of Highway 260 eleven miles northwest of Forest Lakes and 22 miles west of Heber.
