AZH Cooks III
The date and theme have been set for our third cooking event. This one will be at mine and Dave's home on the southeast side of town. PM me for address and directions.
Date: Sunday, May 27, 2007 (it sounded like a Thanksgiving kind of date)
Time: 4:00 PM
Theme: THANKSGIVING in May!!
Everyone loves the Thanksgiving feast, so why only enjoy it once a year?If you are interested in "breaking tradition" and joining us, please let me know ASAP. Once we know who and how many, Dave & I will try and assign people to meal courses (ie, appetizers, vegetables, desserts,…). If you have an idea, especially a non-traditional course, please share! _________________ Blond, James Blond... double "O", uh oh!!

Noooo... I haven't even had a chance to look yet! I have been so busy! But I will have something by the time it is time.... I want to use something with cranberries but I really can't think of anything that you serve as pre dinner on Thanks giving day besides beer and liqure.... or at least that is what they always has at our house while we waited for the turkey to cook! That and foot ball! _________________ ~~~Diane~~~

Did you give out assignments? Karen had a sweet potato pie suggestion, but we are still looking for an OK and or another item / ideas.
FYI - As their are two of us, we usually try and contribute two items, but if things are filling up then one recipe is fine with us. _________________ Tony |

Tony, I did send out an email with tenative assignments giving you and Karen dessert. But certainly if you want to do two items, that would be fabulous!
If you would like a second assignment, we could use a vegetable dish or some potato creation. What do you think?
PS. Sweet Potato Pie sounds awesome. _________________ Blond, James Blond... double "O", uh oh!!
