Yes it is still a go. I am still looking into a location. I'm thinking late October or early November.

GTG will a park or something work? What are your requirements for the location? Maybe if we all knew what you are looking for, some here would have a place that would fit the bill.

What I am looking for is an outdoor location in a centrally located area in Phoenix that could handle 50 - 70 people. It should include a few tables and benches. Electrical connections would be great. Allow for a beer permit for a group larger than 50. Late October, early November would be good. Any ideas anyone?

If we could get a hold of some generators, we could just do it on national forest land somewhere. No permits, no hassles and people could camp.

I'd offer my house but my yard isn't very big and I'm far from centrally located.

Camping would be great but we wouldn't get the attendance that way. We don't have a bunch of NF land close to central Phoenix though.

What about Eldorado Park. It's big and the ramadas can hold lots of people.I think beer permits are $10. Maybe Papago again, but closer to Hunt's tomb area. The far ramadas at the end of Sq/(oops) Embarassed Piewesta Peak hold large groups.Wish my townhouse was bigger!

Just a thought... If we have it somewhere with some decent cliffs we could do some basic rappelling and climbing lessons too?
