Snowshoeing is great! Not able to do much of it this year - really dry up here, but had one good day of it.
Beaver St. is awesome. We'd go there once a month or so when I was living in Flag. They've got great soft pretzels too. _________________ Anywhere is within walking distance if you spend the time. |

I'll have to give Beaver St. Brewery a try. Although I am a big fan of Oregano's up there. It may take a bit to get a table on a Fri/Sat night but haven't ever been disappointed there.
Don't think I will ever go to Bun Huggers again, just ok food, takes to long to get it.
Back to Snowshoeing, agreed a great time it is, now we just need more snow! |

So if every one knows about this place why do we always go to Bun Huggers???!!! This place is really good! |
That's a great question. Per usual, food robs the direction of a great hiking thread.

I believe the mention of the "Beaver Street Brewery" was in the initial posting of this thread. That makes it legal for on-topic discussion. Right? I thought food was the direction of all topics on this board. Are we not an eating group with a hiking disorder?
I'll see if I can't get off-topic.
Here goes: It's official then, for this years West Fork Wade we will not eat at Bun Huggers on Friday night. Correct?
Back on topic: Diane I thought you didn't like cold and snow and such. Snow shoes must make a difference. Also, Ted told us that you were one of few who could actually give Jerome a lip to lip kiss. Now I believe him. Personally I'd feel safer sticking my head in a Lion's mouth. _________________ ;o)> |

Geez....with all these exclamation points and liberties with spelling, one might suspect an acute 'tizzy' has an AZHiker firmly in it's grasp...... |

By the way Stan.... as long as the snow is falling and it is beautiful snow is a good thing as long as you can stay warm and believe me you stay warm snow shoeing! It is hard work and lots of fun! I took my coat off! While it was snowing! _________________ ~~~Diane~~~

At the Bun Hugger, the order taker chicks give Hooli hugs!: If the Beaver Street Brewery chicks don't give Hooli hugs, I expect the AZH hard Core Hiker Chicks to make up for it! _________________ John Richardson and Richie Rich, El Perro de Playero
