I received this email from a botanist at Boyce Thompson. If anyone can help, you can either respond here in the forums, email me or email Chris. I will make sure he gets any info that we have. Thanks.

Hi all,
As some of you know, I do monarch butterfly research in Arizona.
I am looking especially to find monarchs in central and northern
Arizona. I have already found some good places in
southern AZ and have developed a corps of helpers to tag down there.
What I have found in southern AZ is that the monarchs are especially
attracted to masses of sunflowers and thistles. Am hoping that some of
you out there can direct me to such places in the swath of land between
I-10 and I-40. Hoping to make a road trip the 8th and 9th of October
so please get back to me before then. THX chris
If you wait for perfect conditions, you will never get anything done.
