Came across a large badger while hiking the other day on another segment of the AZ Trail North of AZ 87. The badger upon encountering, ran off and returned, ran off and returned. I ran and did not return. |

They seem to have no fear of humans. I've encountered a few and they don't back down like most critters. One was on a trail in the Wind Rivers, just a little thing, but it was p''''''d and hissing and spitting and making a ruckus. I wouldn't want to tangle with one, they are all claws and teeth. _________________ The bear went over the mountain to see what he could see. |
