What do you consider the best thing you ever quit? It could have been an inorganic, organic, a compound of chemicals, or just a plain bad habit (like picking your nose). It could have been the person that occupied the space they call the spouse matter (aka dark matter) – it can be anything at all. You make the call.

I always get a little goofy after good long hike!

Well Randy ... I don't think you understand how to play the game.... if you ask the question you have to be the first to answer it!

Smoking, hands down, flat out, nothing else comes close! Quit in 1980 and four years later ran the San Francisco marathon in 3:36:08. Before I quit I couldn't run a flat course 10K at the pace I ran the marathon in.

The best thing I ever quit was the military. One of the best gigs I had. Definately the easiest.

I’m definitely hip to that! And yes, how did we buy into that Marlboro thing for so long anyway?

For Diane:

It’s pathetic, but I quit just about everything: Smoking, drinking, drugging, and meat (take a breath) a high fa - lutin job, a high fa – lutin family, friends, money, smog, big cities, TV, politics, fast women, fast cars “and a baby’s arm holding an apple” -- The Tubes.
