Quite the monsoon type storm this past hour out here in Gold Canyon. I have heard the monsoon season has started but I have not heard any cicada's singing yet.

I have a carob tree full of cicada and they have been noisy for about a week now, my wife tells me. I can't hear them, or crickets either. Sometimes it isn't bad getting older, noise levels go down significantly. Laughing

I spent the day in Payson yesterday, and we got slammed with heavy rain for about an hour. Luckily (or unluckily), we were off the trails by that point. can't wait to see that stuff down here in the valley! my fingers are crossed
