I'm trying to decide which weekend would be best for the Oct. GHOTM, which I have volunteered to lead/organize. The location is Escudilla Mtn. with a summit hike can car camping. I'd like to offer it as a two nighter for those of us who have a longer drive.
The issue is the Sept. GHOTM will be on Oct. 1st as well so I'm not sure if planning it the following weekend (7-9), which involves Columbus Day is a good idea.
Please let me know what you think _________________ Jamie

I don't much care which weekend, but hope you guys decide fairly soon so I can plan around it. It being Oct. and the best month for hiking certain areas, I would like to do some other hikes that month as well. |

On the AZ/NM border, north of Alpine a few miles. Third highest peak in AZ. _________________ The bear went over the mountain to see what he could see. |
