My Feet Suck

So....

I have flat feet ( no arch whatsoever )
My Right foot doesnt line up straight ( slightly outward )

This causes me to have pain in my knees and limits my hiking to 5 or 6 miles max at a time.

Im thinking about arch supports, a place called neo-vita is supposed to be able to handle this stuff....

Any suggestions?

Cakewalk, you'd be better off going to a sports Podiatrist and having orthotics custom made for your feet. Depending on your health insurance it may be partially covered.

I got orthotics from Dr.Michael Kates on 34th Ave.+ Bethany. He does all the Suns' etc. + I have a similar problem. It helps a lot!!

I found a very interesting alternative to orthotics that has worked for me big time - check it out: www.barefootscience.net. It got so painful to walk that I thought I'd have to give it up or end up on pills for the rest of my life. I'm a skeptic so I invite you to doubt away but I've done orthotics for years now and still can't believe how well these work.
