Feeling a bit snippy tonight are we?
Yea - I got a shirt that's available too. But I might use it to clean my guns now. It doesn't fit very well anyway - and it was an XL too! _________________ "Only small minds want always to be right."

guess there is no point in having a shirt that advertises a nonexistant site. So, nope, I don't want it. _________________ Mountains are there to be climbed!

I have a used HAZ sticker on one of my camping boxes that I received from Teva Joe back in 2000. If I peeled it off it will be kinda crumply. _________________ My backpack weighs less then a hotel room.. simple!

I have a HAZ sticker on my car that needs to come off. No use having a out of date sticker on my car.
Good luck selling your out of date merchandise! _________________ Mountains are there to be climbed!

I never put the sticker on my car. A white Tshirt is good to clean house in. I use the pens all the time. I am not mad at Teva--just puzzled. What a sin to have all that fantastic trail info and beautiful pictures just fizzle off into the air. _________________ Shikekeh hozhoogo naasha.

Me too, I like the way they write...and they seem to be the only ones my kids don't snag...so if any of you care to toss them my way... _________________ ~Tracy

Mary, I think most of us share your feelings on this subject. Maybe someday we'll know what happened. I'm not angry about what happened, just mystified. And I hope and pray Joe is well. _________________ [/size] |

HAZ didn't cost me a cent. I sure did get a lot of value out of it though including trail information, some cool links, addictive games, good friends, and interesting banter on a variety of subjects. I don't know why Teva made the site or why he closed it. I'm sure it took a lot of time, money, and energy. If it had been me, I would have spent that time on the trails. I miss the site. But, the sun is shining and the outdoors is calling. I better answer the call now while I can.
Good hiking! |
