Yes, that was in West Boulder Canyon. I was gonna take a picture of the scenery in the wash area w/ the water and vegetation lookin all pretty and such, and you started to cross over. I said, "Wait... thats a great pic" You kindly stopped, looked my way, smiled... and the rest is history... and your avatar!! Very Happy

Does that sound like a plan to you, Kent?? Did you want to do Upper Barks?? Because I dont, but I have been wanting to do Lower for a long time now. Any does anyone have any preference on which way or what other trails we take??

Usual meeting place... how early?

Ok so I never answered your question.... I don't have any preference on what trail we take. I am open for anything. Usual meeting place is fine and someone else pick the time, I am an earlybird so don't care what time we start.

Jaimi, how long is lower Barks? One option could be lower Barks to Terrapin then the Needle Cutoff, and return on the Cave Trail.

Yes, that was one of my options... or Lower Barks to Bluff Springs trail up to Miners Saddle then back down to Barclay Basin with maybe a side trip up the backside to Miners Needle.

Anyway, doesn't matter much to me... and I will be there no matter what time. And Early Bird my behind!! I woke you up last Saturday morning!!

How long is this hike anyhow? I say we meet at 6:30. That way it will be light out when we get to the TH.

6:30 works for me. Light or dark, rain or shine (or snow!) it's all good. Turning

Where is Bark's Canyon? If it's not too hard (just not in the mood) I would like to go. I may work Sat but if I have a good reason could work Friday instead. Trail description please?

Cindy,

Jaimi will be able to tell ya, I have no idea, we are starting at the Peralta TH, I believe. From what I have read it is a moderate trail. Hopefully someone else will sign on and let ya know.

Cactuscat sent me a pm with some info. Thank you. I think I'm fighting off something. Just not feeling myself today. Could explain why I'm not in the mood for anything too challenging. I'll see if this turns into anything. If it's nothing I'd like to join you. How much time are we looking at? Need to make sure I have the kids covered.
