If you haven't taken the opportunity to see Diane and Tracy's Picacho Peak Pictures?
The series of photos they got from all those hikers doing "the pose" is simply incredible.
I'm now very, very sad I wasn't there to see it myself. _________________ "Only small minds want always to be right."

Oh My, if you only knew! The "hiker poses" were only the half of it! You should've been there for..."the rest of the story" _________________ ~Tracy

Let me tell ya, I was exhausted after this hike. We laughed so hard my stomach hurt. One lady thought we worked for Arizona Highways and was offering to do some additional poses for us. After shaking up Picacho Peak and the Ranger Station we headed for the Summit Hut. We shopped for 2-3 hours there.......purchasing absolutely nothing...........but getting input from all shoppers and employees. We topped off the day by having dinner with Diane's daughter.........yep, we got to meet Katie!............she's a hoot!
Tracy does have a portion of the "rest of the story" written up, we're just encouraging her to post it....it's also worthy of a laugh. |

One of the best days I have had in a long time! When three "college" girls hang out and make specticals of them selves every one is willing to participate! I do think that Tracy should post "the rest of the story" It clears a lot of things up and we did work so hard on it! _________________ ~~~Diane~~~

I have to say - I love Picacho Peak. For some reason that hike just inspires fun and frivolity. The most "fun" I've ever had on hikes have been on that peak.
I wonder what it is about that hike that makes it have that effect on people? _________________ "Only small minds want always to be right."

I was going to suggest it was something in the Starbucks. _________________ The bear went over the mountain to see what he could see. |

It even has that effect on the wildlife. Last time I was up there, there were about a dozen ravens swooping around the summit, playing, squawking and having a grand ol' time. It was very cool to watch! _________________ [/size] |
