Observed a couple of pelicans flying in the Gold Canyon Area on friday, must have been the storm in Calif. that has altered their course. |

That is pretty strange, all they eat is fish isn't it? They will be some hungry birds before they find fish here. I've seen them set up a diagonal line along a lake shore, funneling the fish to the ones along the shore line. _________________ The bear went over the mountain to see what he could see. |

A couple of years ago I saw a flock of pelicans in the lakes at Ocotillo. I was able to get some photos and they were also covered in the Chandler paper. There's lots of fish in the waters hearabouts and those at Ocotillo were helping themselves to a feast. _________________ It is far better to grasp the Universe as it really is than to persist in delusion, however satisfying and reassuring. -- Carl Sagan |
