Was in Greer this weekend. Aspens starting to change back by Sheeps Crossing and on Mt Baldy. _________________ 'We gain strength, courage, and confidence by each experience in which we really stop to look fear in the face...we must do that which we think we cannot"

Update..Aspens in Lockett Meadow may be past prime, but others in Hart's Prarie may last two more weeks, if weather remains stable; Sedona starting slowly in upper West Fork area, but not much yet. Got info from ranger at Red Rock State park. |

Anybody know of any prime Fall color spots for this weekend? Sedona perhaps? Pinal Mtns? Payson? Anything?
I read reports that the Kaibab National Forest is done. _________________ ~Tracy

Southern Utah, will have wonderful colors over the next two-three weeks. Once overnights are hitting thirty or less, the trees will be getting it together. _________________ What a magnificent time to LIVE! - Everett Ruess.

I'll be in See Canyon tomorrow...went last year at this same time and the colors were just great! Also got a report from a neighbor who just returned from Heber. Said the colors are poppin'!

We were in Sedona/Prescott for a 4 day weekend. Be prepared for the crowds anywhere you go in Sedona. Prescott was more quiet but not much for colors, except for some spots around Mingus Mountain. |
