While camping the past several days, observed (among many other things) coatimundi's out on a night hike North of AZ 87 near Blue Ridge Reservoir. Did not know they were that far north.

Global warming has caused some animal species to move out of their habitual range in many countries perhaps this is one instance of that?

According to this link, the white-nosed coati's range covers almost all of Arizona and even extends up into Utah & Colorado.
