I'm going to Havasupai in May, and heard some stories about the water making some people sick Wacko . I know the stream has always been somewhat questionable Chin Scratching , but I remember getting water from the spring in the camp area and have recently heard that water needs to treated/filtered now.
Has anyone been down there recently that can give an update on whether there's any truth to the stories? Shades

I was there last spring. We used the water from the spring without filtering and without any problems. However, the tribe's website says to treat the water. I suppose it'd be better to error on the side of caution.

CatValet has the right attitude....water rusts nails, floats battleships and I don't even wanna think what fish do in it!
