While hiking a portion of the Arizona Trail, observed turkeys, deer, elk, raccoons and a fox. Hiking along the trail I did a double take, sticking up from the vegetation were antlers from four bucks that were bedded down. At a trail junction several turkeys were walking down a trail, single file. Also observed a very large fox and raccoons. One night had a racoon climb on the hood of my jeep wrangler before it started to rain quite hard. The raccoon took shelter in the door overhang of my tent with me laying less than two feet from it as I laid inside the tent. The raccon spent about 20 min. there grooming itself and observing me before it left. |

Oh my gosh! How cool! Sharing a tent with a coon and it wasn't even trying to eat your food! _________________ ~~~Diane~~~
