An informant told me today of a fire up on Table Top mountain near the Copper Creek area of the Galiuros. He lives in Mammoth and said the flames were clearly visible. Hope the rains put it out; otherwise glad I did my Galiuro treks when I did.

Sunday I was in the Chiricahuas with monsoon clouds blowing up, the Barfoot fire was started by a lightning strike and is burning near the lookout, the Pine summer camp is nearby but not evacuated yet. Fire is estimated at about 350 acres right now.

Darn it, every sky island is going to get it, it seems
