I notice that we have a number of people who have joined who's login I don't recognize, and a few I do recognize but haven't posted anything yet.

I was thinking this would be a good place to announce your presence on the site, and to inform everyone of your current vs. former login.

My signature line describes it all - but I would like to hear from everyone. I'm sure it would be appreciated by all the other members as well.

Nothing complicated, just who you are, and were on the previous site - or if you're a newbie to the whole thing - then we can give you a proper welcome.

Never said it shouldn't stay.

But, I would direct you to take a look at the login ID over your picture. [brief pause to allow for Hooli, in his weakened, sinus-infection dibilitated state to muster the energy to take a gander over yonder]

That don't say "Hooli" - unless you're using some sort of devil-may-care Mark Twain'esque spelling that completely eludes the sensibilities of any english language speaker with an education beyond the 2nd grade.

Either that or you're just plain ornery.

Or both.

But I agree, would love to see each member, new or old, come here and tell us a little about themselves. I've made some very close friends through the old site by getting to know a little about them from the start. Certainly not a requirement, but good way to get started on involving yourself in our community. I've said before, a strong community is one where everybody gets involved to some degree.
