This will be my first time to receive one. I think I'll need a couple of headlamps, maybe a rain jacket for messami, and we'll see what I have left over after that. What is yours being spent on. Oh yeah, go to REI.com and there's a 10% off any single item using your dividend for online orders.

I haven't even thought about what to spend mine on. Probably won't be that big anyway. The biggest ticket item I bought last year was a new tent and that was on sale. It was probably on Mrs Mike's membership card, too. I got an email from REI today about the 10% off deal. _________________ [/size] |

I am looking forward to mine ....Spent some bucks there last year so I should have something decent coming back!
There's always something that you "need" at REI.
The sale thing kinda kills the $$ coming back through _________________ Photos: http://www.pbase.com/desertgirl/galleries

My best dividend ever was around $250. I was stoked. But then I realized that meant I had spend over $2000 on equipment. And then I realized that meant I HAD over $2000 in equipment. Overall - a happy day.
I haven't gotten a decent dividend (meaning anywhere near $1) for several years. Not a good sign. Ah, for the good old days of $200 dividends. (of course my wife would kill me if that happened today... ) _________________ "Only small minds want always to be right."

Yes we do need more, always. Some of us just can't get enough. I won't mention what I spent last year on gear at REI.
I can remeber being younger when a pack of Bubble Yum and a 16 oz Mountain Dew (glass bottle, CFC foam wrap) would keep me going for a day. Now, I can't leave the house without my 1.5 liter water bottle. I use sticks to hike with and carry a computer on my pack strap.

And if we don't have a good meal before exerting any significant amount of energy we "bonk"...I'm with ya Todd...
Looking at my dividend of $99.79....and wondering why I spent $190 bucks using a bankcard that only gives 8% instead of writing a freaking check and getting 10%...
Anyway....thinking about picking up.
REI down travel sleeping bag (45degree)...or
road bike shoes...and/or...
new mtn bike shoes....or
a new hydration pack...or...or...or...or... _________________ -Colin
