I know there are a lot of trips being logged this weekend - what with a 3 day week and all - and I am adding to the general melee [is that better?].
I am going to be going up the Peralta trail and down the Cave Trail - this is a trip I have not done before and I am looking forward to it. Anyone that would like to join in is welcome.
I will be at the trail head at 7:00 AM.
If someone needs a ride - if you can get to my house, or if you live in the east valley - I can accomodate 2 more passengers in my car. PM me if you need transportation. _________________ "Only small minds want always to be right."

Leave it to Olesma to get things stirred up again.

Daddee, how about doing this Sunday morning, "mele" not withstanding!
I can't go on Saturday, but could probably do it Sunday, as long as it isn't an all day thing! _________________ Steve |

Well, take a look at the date - this hike has been moved to Monday morning.
Nothing about the plan will change except the date - so I left the rest of the original post as is (mostly). Since I work at a bank - I have that day off. If anyone can join me that Morning - I will welcome all who are willing. _________________ "Only small minds want always to be right."

Did this hike Saturday morning,,,missed Olesma, but ran into Fritzski and Ranger Lou at the trailhead....enjoyed cave trail! Much less crowded then Peralta...we watched the crowds across the canyon as we had the cave trail to ourselves... _________________ -Colin

Yeah, I love that about the Cave Trail - I enjoy having the people on Peralta looking up at me and saying "how'd she get up there? ... I didn't know you could hike up there!".
I'd join you, Daddee but I'm looking for water that day - and a little more solitude than Peralta/Cave offers. Have fun! |

Well, I didn't go Saturday - did things with the family instead. Sunday I was sick as a dog (fever = 102 - the little dude was pretty sick too - we like to share in our family ) - so I decided to sleep it off.
12 hours of nap time later and I feel okay again - not great, but okay. So I didn't go hiking today either.
Bummer of a weekend. I hate getting sick on a 3 day weekend. No fun at all.
Oh, well. Maybe next weekend. _________________ "Only small minds want always to be right."
